After much apologising from the pead about the time its take...... it wasn't actually her fault at all, it was the specialists in Queens.
The good news is they found no lesions on his spinal scan and all looks perfectly normal. Which in itself is fab news!
His brain scan shows changes from his last scan with regards to the white matter which is consistent with PVL ( Periventricular Leukomalacia). This however does confirm we are just dealing with cerebral palsy and not a motor neurone issue, which again is good news.
The not so good news is although confirmed as spastic diplegic cerebral palsy she did stress that it is still evolving. This means that it is unlikely that we will know how it will truly affect him until he is older. Things will never get better, there is a strong chance things could get worse in regards to his motor skills as he grows.
When we started this journey we knew it wouldn't be and easy one. We knew it would be meet with many many hurdles BUT we also knew not matter what the outcome it would never change who Ollie is!
